For nine consecutive years, Condé Nast Traveler magazine has named Charleston as the most popular city in the United States, and mid-March is usually the time when the azaleas are approaching full bloom. So, consider extending your stay in Charleston over the weekend in order to enjoy its many attractions, including the historic downtown, plantation houses, and beaches.
