Inclusive Excellence Programs and Opportunities

Medical Students

The Underrepresented in Medicine Visiting Student Program is sponsored by the College of Medicine and the Department of Medicine. The program invites fourth year under-represented in medicine (URM) medical students (African-American, Native-American, Hispanic and Native Hawaiian) to participate in a fourth year externship at MUSC.

  • Total students accepted: 4
  • Funding available: up to $1,500.00 toward educational expenses
  • Application deadline for funding: July 1st
