Continuity Clinic

  • In addition to the above rotations, fellows will participate in Continuity Clinic throughout their fellowship.

Conferences and Lectures

  • Every other week there is an afternoon devoted to fellowship educational conferences. This includes: pathology conference, didactic presentations from faculty within the department, journal club, and board review. Fellows take an active role in Fellows Conference with presentations on relevant topics. During fellowship continuity clinic there is a physiology review.
  • There are multiple other educational opportunities related to Pediatric Gastroenterology including an online nutrition curriculum and video capsule endoscopy training.

Teaching Experience

  • Fellows will prepare and present lectures to students, residents, and their peers.
  • Fellows will participate in a Clinician as Educator’s certificate program through our GME office. The goal of this program is to provide our trainees with the skill-set needed to succeed as junior faculty on a Clinical Educator track.
