Fredric Mau, D. Min, MA, M. Div., LPCS, BC-NCC, BC-TMH, owns Watermark Counseling in Columbia, SC. A licensed professional counselor, he specializes in narrative therapy, Ericksonian hypno-therapy, motivational interviewing and solution-focuses brief counseling.

In 2019, he was named SCCA Counselor of the Year. In 2013, he was recognized by the Hypnokongress in Zurich, Switzerland with the HypnoScience Award; he also earned the National Guild of Hypnotists' 2016 Research Award. Author of two books, Dr. Mau presents to medical and counseling audiences both in the U.S. and in Europe.
