Dr. Matthew G. Mutch is Chief, Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. The conditions he treats include: colorectal cancer, colon cancer, cancer of the rectum, inflammatory bowel disease, incontinence, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis, hemorrhoids, anal fissure and rectal-vaginal fistulas.
Dr. Mutch was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and received an M.D. degree from the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis. His general surgery training was conducted at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine and included 2 years of research.
