The tentative schedule for Friday's symposium is as follows:

12:15 - 2:15 pm  Keynote address, Opioid/Substance Abuse

2:15 - 2:30 pm Coffee Break

2:30 - 3:30 pm Breakout Sessions #1

3:30 - 3:45 pm Coffee Break

3:45 - 4:45pm Breakout Sessions #2 

Credit Designation

The Medical University of South Carolina designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nursing Credit: This activity has been submitted to the South Carolina Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The South Carolina Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses: This continuing education activity awards 6.5 PH (pharmacology hours). Hours for controlled substances are 2.0.

Dental Credit: The James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider.  ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Registration Fees

The registration fee for the symposium is $200.00.  The fee includes tuition, breakfast, lunch, breaks, online syllabus and certificates of attendance.

Cancellation

A refund will be made upon written request prior to February 1, 2024; however, $75 will be retained for administrative costs. No refunds will be made after February 1, 2024. We reserve the right to cancel the program if necessary. Full registration fees will be refunded for canceled programs. By registering for this conference, you agree to this cancellation policy.
