Welcome to MUSC! I am one of your Social Co-Chairs, and a second-year medical student. I graduated from Clemson University in 2019 with a B.S. in Microbiology and minors in French and Genetics. I then worked as a medical scribe in Greenville, SC and as a tutor for Clemson University student-athletes before starting medical school. At MUSC, I currently serve as a Wellness Leader and Student Ambassador and am involved in numerous specialty interest groups. I am passionate about building strong patient-physician relationships, addressing health/healthcare disparities, and mentoring aspiring healthcare providers. In my free time, I like to spend time with family and friends, play board games, cook, and try new restaurants! I can’t wait to meet you all!

Welcome to MUSC! I am originally from Chapel Hill, NC, and I graduated from Clemson in 2020 with degrees in Genetics and Biochemistry. I am currently part of the MD-PhD program here at MUSC, so I am really interested in basic science and research. Right now, I am interested in radiation oncology as a potential specialty and research focus. Along with serving as one of your COM Team Co-Chairs, I am very active in volunteering as a sexual assault victim advocate, serve as secretary for Phi Chi service fraternity, and volunteer regularly with the student-run CARES clinic. In my free time, I love camping & backpacking, listening to music, and going to the beach! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about MUSC or Charleston, I’m excited to meet you!

I am thrilled to serve on the COM Team as a Social Co-Chair for FLEX25 this year! I grew up just outside of Charlotte, NC and studied Public Health at Clemson University before beginning medical school at MUSC. I am not entirely sure where I want to specialize, but I am interested in surgery and pediatrics. I volunteer at a few student-operated clinics through MUSC and also support families losing a parent to a terminal illness with a non-profit called Inheritance of Hope. I love to explore the city of Charleston and relax on the beach in my downtime. I am excited to share this journey with you!

Welcome MUSC Class of 2025! I am very excited to meet you all and hope to be a beneficial resource during your time here at MUSC. Besides being on the orientation team, I enjoy being a student ambassador for the admissions office, being involved in various interest groups, and serving as VP for the OB/GYN interest group (OBIG) and pre-clinical VP of the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA). My current specialty interests include OB/GYN, radiology, and anesthesia but I am open to anything! In my down time, I enjoy baking pastries, hiking, spending time with family/friends, and being outside as much as possible. I have loved my experience at MUSC, where the faculty and staff are here to help in any way they can, every step of the way. Previous classes are also always happy to give advice and chat, so don’t be afraid to reach out and ask questions! Congratulations on starting medical school, and enjoy this new adventure!

I am a second-year medical student from Spartanburg, SC! I graduated from the University of South Carolina where I studied biochemistry and molecular biology. Here at MUSC, I thoroughly enjoy serving as a student ambassador and a COM team social Co-Chair. I am extremely happy to attend a school where the faculty and staff care about the wellbeing of their students. When I'm not in the books, I love playing basketball and soccer and exploring the city with friends. My time shadowing and volunteering in the hospital has allowed me to gain great insight into different fields of medicine. I am currently interested in doing surgery but I have not yet decided what specialty would be the best fit for me. I look forward to exploring various specialties during my future clinical experiences as my medical education continues. I am excited to meet the incoming class and please feel free to reach out to me at any time!

Hey everyone! I’m a second-year student and recent graduate of USC where I majored in Biochemistry and French Studies. Alongside serving as the Training Co-Chair for COM Team, you might recognize me as one of the College of Medicine Lead Ambassadors.  Around campus, I’m involved in the Student Alliance for Equality, a few interest groups and serve as an Anatomy TA for the OT/PT Summer Anatomy course. My current specialty interests include surgery, OB/GYN, and internal medicine, but that changes about every other week. I also have a passion for researching gender and sexual minority healthcare disparities. I’m excited to see you all together on campus soon and maybe I’ll catch some of you at the beach! Reach out if I can help you with anything along the way or if you just want to be friends.

Welcome to MUSC! I’m originally from Illinois and attended UIUC where I studied Molecular & Cellular Biology and Chemistry. I spent two years prior to starting medical school in Myrtle Beach where I scribed in the ER. I’m currently involved as an MUSC ambassador giving tours and doing Q&As on interview days, a mentor with the Group on Diversity Affairs, a mentor through Prescribe It Forward, 2nd year representative for the EM interest group, social media director for the WOLVES wilderness medicine interest group, and the Navigator editor on the COM Orientation Team. While I’m not set on any specialty, I’m really interested in emergency medicine and cardiology. For fun I love to play volleyball, do calligraphy, read, and explore new places in this amazing city. I can’t wait to meet you all, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
