The Department of Medicine is thrilled to introduce the incoming 2025-2026 MUSC Internal Medicine Residency program interns! This rising class of 37 candidates will join us to begin their residencies this June. Match Day 2025 marks an exhilarating milestone in the journeys of young physicians, symbolizing the fruits of their dedication throughout four or more years of rigorous medical education.
The incoming 2025-2026 class includes:
- 27 categorical internal medicine track
- Four preliminary track
- Four combined internal medicine/pediatrics track
- Two combined internal medicine/psychiatry track
Our new residents come from geographically diverse locations, representing 24 different medical schools! The class is outstanding, especially given that the competition for positions was greater this year than ever before!
We are excited to embrace our incoming residents into the MUSC community, nurturing and guiding them as they evolve into the future pioneers of healthcare leadership. Throughout their training, they will engage with a cutting-edge medical curriculum that mirrors the tripartite mission of education, research, and clinical care at the MUSC College of Medicine.
