Division of Hospital Medicine

Welcome to the Division of Hospital Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Previously a section within the Division of General Internal Medicine, in 2020 the Division of Hospital Medicine became the newest division in the Department of Medicine comprising over 40 physicians and advanced practice providers. Our mission is to provide the highest quality, evidence-based care to patients in South Carolina while advancing quality improvement, patient safety, and education. MUSC’s Division of Hospital Medicine vision is to be regional and national leaders in hospital medicine by promoting excellence, lifelong learning, innovation, and professional development among our faculty.
