Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program

book_2 Learning Mode: Residential

The Medical University of South Carolina offers a year-long fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) that prepares physicians to provide comprehensive palliative care for patients and their families in the setting of serious illness and injury. Our HPM program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and offers a range of clinical sites encompassing our academic medical center, a community health system partner, the Ralph A. Johnson VA Medical Center, and home hospices. MUSC is a tertiary care center offering advanced therapies in transplant, stroke, pediatric specialties, cancer treatment, trauma and burn serving patients across the state.
