Dr. Jordan Bowe is a licensed clinical psychologist and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at Eastern Kentucky University, her predoctoral internship at Florida State Hospital, and a fellowship in forensic psychology at MUSC.
Her work focuses on psychological assessment and evaluation in complex clinical and legal contexts, including forensic evaluations related to competency to stand trial and criminal responsibility. Dr. Bowe also leads MUSC’s Assisted Reproduction Consultation & Evaluation Program (ARCEP), which provides specialized psychosocial consultation and psychological evaluation services for third-party reproduction. Additionally, she provides outpatient treatment services and supervises trainees across multiple levels of medical and graduate education.
Dr. Bowe’s professional interests include personality assessment, response style in psychological testing, and the application of psychological science to legal decision-making. She is a member of the American Psychology-Law Society (APLS), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and ASRM’s Mental Health Professional Group (ASRM-MHPG).
