Instructions for Applicants

Applications are accepted from April 1 to January 31. Interviews are scheduled on a rolling basis. You must have completed a psychiatry residency program which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) prior to entering the geriatric psychiatry fellowship program. Exceptional candidates from international programs which are accredited by the ACGME (ACGME-I) will also be considered. The training period in geriatric psychiatry is 12 months.

The following items are required to make your application complete:

  • Completed Universal Application (PDF) (including Personal Statement)
  • Current Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter from your Dean's Office (from medical school)
  • Three letters of recommendation, including one from current Program Director
  • Official copy of your transcript from medical school
  • ECFMG Certificate (if International Medical Graduate)
  • Official copy of USMLE transcript
