The purpose of the South Carolina Traumatic Brain Injury Follow-up Registry (SCTBIFR) is to describe the health outcomes and service needs of South Carolinians after discharge from the hospital following a brain injury. At one, two and three years after injury, participants are interviewed about their health including physical and emotional well-being, life satisfaction, persistent symptoms and secondary conditions, return to work and school, and the use of and need for different services, such as employment, transportation and rehabilitation services.
