Verification of Training Requests

The MUSC Department of Surgery processes verification of training requests for the following programs:

• General Surgery Residency
• Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency
• Cardiothoracic Surgery Integrated Residency
• Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency and Fellowship
• Transplant Surgery Fellowship
• Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
• Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship
• Cardiothoracic Heart Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support Fellowship

Surgery Residency Training Verification

Due to the high volume of requests we receive, an administrative processing fee of $50 will be assessed to verify training for individuals no longer enrolled. This fee is waived for current residents in these programs.

How to request verification

Request a verification letter via the request form below.

1. Send the completed release form with your submission to residencyverif@musc.edu. Please include a basic description of your request, the Authority to Release form, and your institutional form that needs completed. If you are looking for a basic verification and do not have a separate institutional form to have completed, please indicate so. 
2. Please then complete the payment section below. Your invoice will be sent shortly after.
3. Once your payment has been confirmed, you will receive the verification letter to the email provided within 7-10 business days.
