The MUSC Department of Surgery processes verification of training requests for the following programs:
- General Surgery Residency
- Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency
- Cardiothoracic Surgery Integrated Residency
- Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency and Fellowship
- Transplant Surgery Fellowship
- Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
- Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship
- Cardiothoracic Heart Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support Fellowship
Surgery Residency Training Verification
Due to the high volume of requests we receive, an administrative processing fee of $50 will be assessed to verify training for individuals no longer enrolled. This fee is waived for current residents in these programs.
How to request verification
Request a verification letter via the request form below.
- Send the completed release form (PDF) with your submission to residencyverif@musc.edu. Please include a basic description of your request, the Authority to Release form, and your institutional form that needs completed. If you are looking for a basic verification and do not have a separate institutional form to have completed, please indicate so.
- Please then complete the payment section below. Your invoice will be sent shortly after.
- Once your payment has been confirmed, you will receive the verification letter to the email provided within 7 to 10 business days.
