What advice would you give to medical students at MUSC now?

“Remember why you are here. It is so easy to get lost in the world of textbooks and tests and scores. Remember that you are here to treat people. The people are real…they are more than just a metabolic derangement or broken bone or cancerous mass. These people are parents, siblings, friends, teachers, etc. Don’t forget that you are here to help people.”
