This presentation will provide an overview of The University of Basel research group and its large longitudinal studies in residential group homes in Switzerland, which is also one of the largest internationally. Study outcomes showed that traumatic experiences and mental health disorders were widespread among children and adolescents. University of Basel deliberately chose Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN) over ten years ago because it delivers the best research-based results and provides the most professional form of support and quality assurance.
