2-Year Program for Emergency Medicine Graduates

We are excited to announce we have been approved by the American Board of Anesthesiology for a 2-year program for Emergency Medicine graduates.

Requirements for Emergency Medicine Applicants:

  • Must have completed 4 months (16 weeks) of critical care training during residency
  • Successfully complete an ACGME-accredited EM residency

Key Highlights:

  • ACGME-accredited ACCM fellowship program & ABA-approved additional 12 month fellowship program for EM graduates
  • Same benefits and educational opportunities as our 12-month program
  • Strong emphasis on post-surgical patient care
  • Rotation opportunities for advanced airway management in the operating room (fiberoptic, LMA, simulation training for rescue surgical airway)
  • Rotation opportunities for regional anesthesia for rescue peripheral nerve block placement for pain management & procedures
  • Minimum 12 months of rotations with a focus on post-surgical patient management
