Critical Care Anesthesia Fellows: 2024-2025

John Conway, MD- Dr. Conway grew up in Pleasantville, a small village just outside of New York City. In college, along with his twin brother, he became a volunteer firefighter and EMT which sparked his interest in emergency medicine. After graduating from King’s College and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he became an Emergency Medicine resident at The Mount Sinai Hospital. More than anything else in residency he enjoyed resuscitating and caring for the critically ill. This passion drove him to critical care fellowship. Outside of work, he enjoys running, lifting, and nonfiction reading.

Avery Elifritz, DO- Dr. Elifritz is originally from Ohio, where he has lived all of his life. He trained in Emergency Medicine at the University of Toledo. He enjoys spending time with his pets and exercising. He is very excited to continue to learn about all things Critical Care and to spend time working with the fine people of Charleston, SC!
