About The Division

Education

Our division offers comprehensive post-residency training through two fellowship programs: the ACGME-accredited, two-year Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolic Diseases Fellowship, designed to train exceptional clinical endocrinologists and research physicians, and the rigorous one-year Diabetes Fellowship, providing intensive education in both outpatient and inpatient diabetes care.

Research

The Division of Endocrinology's research program is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of diabetes and its complications through collaborative clinical and basic science research. With a strong emphasis on health disparities, community partnerships, and interdisciplinary collaboration, our nationally and internationally recognized investigators secure funding from the NIH, VA, and leading foundations to drive impactful discoveries.

Patient Care

Our clinical work encompasses the full spectrum of endocrinology, including thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, bone, gonadal, and metabolic disorders. Diabetes services are undergoing rapid expansion in collaboration with many other disciplines and partners on and off campus. Our goal is to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes and other endocrine disorders.
