Our residency program participates in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP), and all applications should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), a program of the Association of American Medical Colleges.
Applicants should have at least three letters of recommendation, and at least one of these should be from a neurologist.
Interview Selection Criteria
We are looking for residents who are passionate about neurology. This can be demonstrated through clerkship performance, research involvement, or extracurricular activities. We do not have a board score cutoff and review every application.
We believe a variety of backgrounds and life experiences strengthen our program, and we encourage applications from all groups. We sponsor J1 visas for highly qualified international applicants.
If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted through email by our program coordinator.
Interview Day
This year we will be having virtual interviews from November through January. We are confident that you will still be able to get to know our residents and faculty and we will be able to show you the highlights of our program.
The night before the interview day we will be having an informal virtual happy hour for you to meet our current residents. While optional, we think this is a great opportunity to learn about the culture of our program. The interview day itself will include a presentation by the program director, interviews with various faculty and the chief residents, and a virtual lunch with the residents to allow for any final questions. We will also provide you with a video tour highlighting our campus and work spaces.
