Miller Laboratory

Welcome!

Dr. Miller’s research laboratory works to develop better treatments for neonatal intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH). We perform experiments to understand the neuroimmune response to IVH and how it affects brain injury, white matter development and long-term cognitive outcomes. We utilize a wide array of laboratory techniques including immunohistochemistry, in vivo imaging, flow cytometry, cell culture and metabolic studies. The laboratory is highly collaborative with other groups in neuroscience and immunology at MUSC and other institutions.
