Our 2025-2026 Ob/Gyn MFM Fellows

Rebecca Crowe, M.D. grew up in Greenville, SC. She went to medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville. She had her residency at MUSC and decided to stay for her fellowship as she is able to care for a diverse patient population with a wide variety of clinical experiences and learning, as well as all of the people in the department that she feels are exceptional. When she graduates, she plans to work as a maternal fetal medicine specialist in an academic setting. In her free time, she likes to exercise, work on her vegetable garden, enjoy an evening beach walk or dinner downtown.

Amartha Gore, M.D., grew up in Columbia, SC. She went to medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina and was drawn to MUSC's Fellowship during her experience as a medical student, as well as time that she spent working at the MUSC Landcaster clinic and exposure with the Maternal Fetal Medicine physician team. When she graduates, she hopes to work closely with underserved and rural communities increasing access to care provided by MFM physicians in those areas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cooking with her daughter. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves to travel and explore new places.

Lauren Yacobucci, M.D., grew up in Buffalo, NY. She obtained her undergrad at the College of the Holy Cross and her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Buffalo. She was drawn to MUSC during her residency and continued to stay for her fellowship. When she graduates, she plans to work as a Maternal Fetal Medicine provider. In her free time, she likes to read, travel and hike.

Ashleigh Hemphill, M.D., grew up in Charleston, SC. She obtained her undergrad at Wofford College and went to medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is in the Navy and was drawn to MUSC for a Fellowship in the city where she grew up, and to give her children an opportunity to be close to their extended family. She plans to continue with her naval career and where that takes her. In the meantime, she will enjoy traveling and spending time with her family.
