Thank you for visiting the MUSC PM&R medical student information page! We are enthusiastic about showing our students a wide range of experiences during your rotation(s) with us. You will spend time with our inpatient and outpatient services including non-surgical musculoskeletal clinics, acute inpatient consultation service, prosthetics and orthotics, neurorehabilitation clinics, electrodiagnostic clinic, and pediatric rehabilitation at our children’s hospital. We also encourage our students to gain a greater understanding of the patient experience outside the hospital setting by providing a list of extracurricular activities in Charleston for people with disabilities and their families. These therapeutic recreational activities may include volunteering to join adaptive sports, such as kickball, swimming, pickleball, golf, or hip-hop dance class, hosted by local organizations that offer inclusive programming. Throughout your rotation(s), we hope you expand your clinical knowledge, make meaningful memories with patients, and have fun!
