About Us

 Dr. Hill is an aging and stem cell researcher in the areas of musculoskeletal and neurodegenerative disease. He has extensive experience in tissue processing, and immunohistochemistry (IHC) for a wide range of human and animal tissue types, using an assortment of antibody based IHC and fluorescent staining procedures. Dr. Hill became the core director in 2020.

Shelby joined the Histology Core in May 2019 and became Lab Manager in February 2021. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina with a B.S. in Biology, with experience in electron microscopy, histology, and bacteriology.
