About Us
The Division also includes the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, an innovative, comprehensive training program consistently attracting top trainees nationally, and providing an unparalleled educational experience via clinical and didactic training. Program faculty, who additionally play key roles in training medical students, psychiatry residents, psychology interns, and postdoctoral fellows, are frequently recognized at MUSC and nationally for their teaching excellence.
Complementing the Division’s clinical and educational strengths is an outstanding portfolio of research, conducted in collaboration with other divisions and departments and spanning neurodevelopment, phenomenology, and treatment. This research includes participation in the National Institutes of Health sponsored Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study, the nation’s largest-ever study on brain development and child health.
