Message from the Program Director

Welcome to the MUSC Rural Psychiatry Residency Program page and thank you for your interest in our program. Based in Orangeburg, SC, our program is the only ACGME-designated rural psychiatry track in the Southeast. We are committed to training exceptional clinicians who are uniquely prepared to serve in rural and underserved communities — areas where psychiatric care is often scarce yet deeply needed. If you share our passion and envision contributing to meaningful change in these settings, we would be excited to consider your application.
