Understanding Legal Issues within Mental Health

This year's conference will be held at MUSC's beautiful downtown Charleston campus in the Institute of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Auditorium, a state-of-the-art- facility in a beautiful downtown setting. Join us for an update on understanding legal issues critical to performing at the standard of practice, and the most current research, literature, and approaches will be discussed.

The South Carolina Board of Examiners in Psychology will approve up to 7.5 Category A credits.
The South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists will approve up to 7.5 hours of continuing education credit.
The South Carolina Supreme Court Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization has approved this activity for up to 7.5 CLE credits which includes X.X hours of SAMH credits.
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology. The Medical University of South Carolina designates this activity for a maximum of 7.5 credits. The APA Continuing Education Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
