At MUSC, we offer the region's largest variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures, specializing in the latest techniques requiring the most advanced skill sets.

  • Our surgeons participate in ongoing research programs to expand the depth of plastic surgery knowledge throughout the nation and continually improve techniques.
  • MUSC has the only plastic surgery residency program in the South Carolina and one of only 89 in the nation.
  • We treat adult and pediatric patients.

The program is energized by a foundation of advancement and progress, such as improving breast reconstruction techniques in the Advanced Breast Reconstruction Program. The Hand and Upper Extremity Plastic Surgery Service provides comprehensive care for all problems affecting the fingers, hand and wrist. Also, the plastic surgeons with the Advanced Migraine Surgery Program have helped to pioneer and refine the revolutionary surgical techniques that are used to effectively treat migraine headaches.
