Fellowship Application Process

The MUSC Nephrology Fellowship Program accepts applications via the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) for clinical positions on the normal cycle.

MUSC Nephrology has 10 ACGME clinical track positions. The clinical track is for two years.

MUSC Nephrology will be reviewing applicants with H1-B and J-1 Visa sponsorship. Applicants must have completed a United States Training Program in Internal Medicine in good standing.

The following is a list of the items that are needed to complete an application package for fellowship in ERAS:

  1. ERAS Application
  2. Curriculum Vitae
  3. Three Letters of Reference with one letter from the residency program director.
  4. Personal Statement
  5. USMLE/COMLEX Scores (USMLE Step 3 must be passed prior to starting fellowship.)
  6. Medical School Transcripts
  7. ECFMG Certificate
  8. Visa documents if on J-1 or H1B

We participate in the Nephrology Match each year.  All applicants must apply through ERAS to be considered.
