Dr. Chakradhari Inampudi is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine and a specialist in advanced heart failure, cardiac transplantation, and pulmonary hypertension. He cares for patients with all forms of heart failure, including those requiring IV therapies, left ventricular assist devices (LVADs), and heart transplantation.
Dr. Inampudi earned his MD from Kurnool Medical College, India, and completed residency training in internal medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he received the Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching and clinical acumen. He completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
His clinical and research interests focus on improving outcomes and quality of life for patients with heart failure, optimizing evidence-based therapies, managing worsening heart failure, and exploring the intersection of cardiovascular and kidney disease.
