Scheduled conferences provided around the year include:

  • Monday PM: Preoperative Patient Care Conference
  • Tuesday AM: Electrophysiology Conference (1st, 3rd, 5th Tuesday of the month)
  • Tuesday PM: Didactic Lecture (78-week rotating curriculum based on ACC/AHA/ABP guidelines)
  • Wednesday AM: Echocardiography Case Conference
  • Thursday AM: Rotating between Board Review and Catheterization Case Conference
  • Thursday PM: Rotating conferences – Medical Patient Care Conference, Mortality and Morbidity Conference, Research Conference, Echocardiography Quality Assurance Conference, Journal Club

Educational meetings

Fellows have the opportunity to attend an educational meeting once in year two or three. Additional meetings may be attended if the fellow presents an abstract at the meeting or other special circumstances exist. Meetings attended by fellows over the last five years included:
