Scheduled conferences provided around the year include:

  • Monday PM: Preoperative Patient Care Conference
  • Tuesday AM: Electrophysiology Conference (1st, 3rd, 5th Tuesday of the month)
  • Tuesday PM: Didactic Lecture (78-week rotating curriculum based on ACC/AHA/ABP guidelines)
  • Wednesday AM: Echocardiography Case Conference
  • Thursday AM: Rotating between Board Review and Catheterization Case Conference
  • Thursday PM: Rotating conferences – Medical Patient Care Conference, Mortality and Morbidity Conference, Research Conference, Echocardiography Quality Assurance Conference, Journal Club

Educational meetings

Dr. Deani McVadon, 3rd year fellow, is an invited program faculty to the American Society of Echocardiography Annual Sessions in Seattle, WA in June 2022. Dr. Carolyn Taylor, Director of the Pediatric Echocardiography Lab, attended as well and supported Dr. McVadon as her mentor.
