Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship

The Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM), accredited through the American Board of Pediatrics and ACGME, is a specialized training program designed to provide and refine knowledge and skills regarding the care of acutely ill and injured children. Candidates must complete a three-year residency in General Pediatrics or Emergency Medicine to be eligible. The fellowship program is three years for Pediatrics-trained residents and two years for EM-trained residents. All interested Pediatric or EM residents are welcomed and encouraged to apply.

MUSC's Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellowship was initiated in 2009 and currently accepts 2-3 fellows per training year. MUSC participates in the NRMP Match. The deadline for completed applications is August 15th and is conducted through ERAS.
