Division of Thoracic Radiology

Our team of thoracic imaging specialists, technologists, and support staff use a patient centered approach in order to give the best experience to our patients while providing appropriate, cost-effective, and state-of-the-art imaging.

Education

We are dedicated to providing the next generation of thoracic imagers. We provide education in Thoracic Radiology to interested medical students and radiology residents. Experience in Thoracic Imaging is also available upon request to residents in Radiation Oncology, Internal Medicine and Cardiothoracic Surgery as well as fellows in Pulmonary Medicine.

Research

Our research helps guide therapy. Our mission is to support clinical trials requiring thoracic imaging as well as provide imaging trials of interest particularly in the field of lung nodule detection and characterization as well as early detection and follow up of lung cancer.

Collaborative research in:

  • Lung Cancer Screening/Diagnosis and Treatment
  • Detection and Management of Pulmonary Nodules
  • Interstitial Lung Disease
  • COPD/Emphysema
  • Advanced imaging of lung using Photon Counting CT
