Fellowship Programs

We are recruiting our first medical education fellow to start in July 2024!

Our curriculum capitalizes on the expertise of our medical education team in our department, including Dr. Jeff Bush (EM Residency program director), Dr. Simon Watson (APD and Medical Student Clerkship Director), Dr. Lindsey Jennings (Fellowship Director and Assistant Residency Director), and Dr. Morsal Tahouni (Simulation Education Director). We have an emphasis on learning through national programs and conferences and intend on having our fellow attend ACEP, CORD, and SAEM during their fellowship year. Our fellows will receive comprehensive training in UME and GME administration, curriculum development and evaluation, medical education research, bedside teaching, didactic teaching, and academic career development. Fellows will work directly with our EM residents (10 residents/class) and medical students at our level-1 trauma center seeing 90,000 patients per year.

We are looking for self-motivated and hard-working individuals who are interested in helping us shape our new fellowship!

We review applications, offer interviews, and extend fellowship offers if appropriate on a rolling basis from September through January.  Applications can be emailed directly to Dr. Jennings at jennil@musc.edu.
