General Internal Medicine Fellowship Programs

The Division of General Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care is home to three premier training programs in academic general internal medicine, palliative care, and geriatric medicine.

Academic Generalist and Health Services Fellowship

The MUSC Academic Generalist/Health Services Research Fellowship focuses on Practice Transformation and Population Health, preparing physicians and physician assistants for careers in academic family medicine, general internal medicine, and general pediatrics.


Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship

The MUSC Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) Fellowship, led by Director Amanda Overstreet, D.O., is a one-year program that promotes excellence in HPM medicine. 


Geriatric Medicine Fellowship

The one-year Geriatric Medicine Fellowship program provides trainees with in-depth experiences that cover the full spectrum of patients, problems, and settings that geriatricians are likely to encounter across a variety of clinical settings.
