Resident Engagement

At the Medical University of South Carolina, both the institutional and departmental mission is to welcome and celebrate, across different domains, including, but not limited to gender reassignment, age, ethnicity, religion, sex, race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and disability. In the Neuroradiology department we encourage differing backgrounds and perspectives and as such, are learning from each other and growing as a team. We have female Division and Research heads as well as a female Fellowship Program Director and our faculty come from all over the world, including Europe, Asia, and South and North America.

Therefore, we strongly encourage applications from candidates who have historically not been well represented in radiology.

Our goal is to embrace a radiology fellowship program that promotes an educational environment rooted in communication, collaboration and collegiality. This in turn, will allow people to understand and be understood, and work together to change what's possible.

Furthermore, our neuroradiology fellowship program fosters a culture of openness that embraces all perspectives and backgrounds.
