A key to any excellent training program is the strength of its residents and faculty. We are fortunate to have outstanding residents who are bright, compassionate, professional, and highly supportive of one another. They bring a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, excelling both individually and as a team. The faculty in the Department of Medicine devotes a major effort in teaching. Faculty members see residents as junior colleagues and are supportive and approachable. The residents are consistently involved in all decisions involving curriculum changes and service design.
