Med-Peds Residency

Current Internal Medicine Pediatrics Residents Group

The MUSC Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program combines two outstanding programs to provide our residents with a robust clinical experience that exposes them to every sub-specialty with an emphasis on primary care.

Upon completion of the program, residents are eligible for board certification in both internal medicine and pediatrics. Graduates may elect to enter community practice, academic primary care, hospital medicine, or specialty fellowship training in either or both disciplines.

Med-Peds requires four years (48 months) of residency training, with alternating rotations between internal medicine and pediatrics. Continuity clinic for all residents occurs in our wonderful Med-Peds clinic.

This exciting training program is a great fit for people who love both internal medicine and pediatrics and welcome the challenge of learning two specialties and their integration in the wonderful field of Med-Peds.
