The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in the Medical University of South Carolina has a long history of providing shared research facilities to support departmental research endeavors by faculty, residents, and graduate students. Each core facility operates through a recharge system of fees for service to ensure that state-of-the-art equipment for tissue processing and imaging is maintained. The Core Facilities are also available to the investigators in other departments and Colleges.
