Education
Being part of an academic institution, our team of highly qualified physicians are not only focused on the education of our trainee residents and breast imaging fellows but also pay special attention to patient education and community education. In addition to regularly presenting their work and teaching at various national and international meetings, our faculty members give regular educational lectures to the local community at various churches and community halls.
- For medical students, we educate students rotating through our division as well as offer a dedicated medical student breast imaging elective course.
- For resident education, we have developed breast imaging orientation material, a syllabus, and core curriculum lecture series.
- We provide several breast imaging fellowship positions dedicated to specialty focused training in breast imaging.
Research
The breast imaging team is actively involved in research and our work is regularly published in various medical journals. Ongoing research projects involve various clinical studies regarding various aspects of breast cancer diagnosis and benign breast diseases.
