Research

The Department of Urology participates in a variety of medical studies. An interdisciplinary team of physicians, Ph.D.'s, medical students, nurses, and other highly-qualified professionals collaborate on the following projects. In fact, we are an active member of the Southwest Oncology Groupand participate in a variety of local, national, and international research trials.

Currently, the urology department have studies ongoing funded by NIH, NIDDK as well as VA Merit Award Funding, and VA Cooperative Studies Program Funding. We have a team of three research coordinators and collaborate to share resources between departments within our hospital.
