The Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) offers outstanding undergraduate students the opportunity to work closely with faculty members on cutting-edge biomedical research projects. Participants in this program are to perform at a graduate student level. Students are matched with faculty members whose research is closely related to the academic interests and professional goals of the students.

Diversity in Addiction Research Training (DART) Program

The goal of this research training program is to increase the number of psychiatrists with the skills to conduct patient-oriented research as independently funded investigators. The program accomplishes its objectives within the same four-year time period required for clinical training and board certification in psychiatry.

MUSC Youth Collaborative

The Youth Collaborative is dedicated to fostering healthy development and positively impacting the community. We offer clinical services, research opportunities, and education programs focused on preventing and addressing youth substance use, while also encouraging young people to pursue careers in science and discovery.
