College of Medicine Pathway Programs

The College of Medicine offers programs and initiatives to support students from underrepresented groups interested in pursuing a career in medicine, including students with disabilities, those from rural backgrounds, first-generation college students, members of the LGBTQ+ community, those from disadvantaged or marginalized backgrounds, and other students interested in addressing health disparities in the communities they serve.  

The hard work and efforts of the PRIME team have led to an increase in students from underrepresented groups, including 17% of students underrepresented in medicine.
