Division of Vascular Surgery

Dr. Veeraswamy serves as the Chief of Vascular Surgery and is the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Surgical Services in the MUSC Health CharlestonDivision. His clinical interests are primarily in treating aortic disease with advanced and minimally invasive techniques. He is an expert on using new technology such as fenestrated stents in the management of aortic aneurysms and other aortic conditions.

Dr. Ryan W. King is a vascular surgeon  specializing in complex vascular disease using both open and endovascular techniques. He completed his integrated vascular surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and returned to MUSC after practicing at the University of Kentucky.  His clinical interests focus on aortic pathology, including aneurysms and dissections, with an emphasis on innovative, patient-specific solutions for complex anatomy.

Dr. Sharee Wright is a vascular surgeon who practices all aspects of vascular and endovascular surgery. She specialized in diabetic limb salvage, aortoiliac disease, aortic aneurysms, and carotid disease. She is a graduate of the MUSC College of Medicine Department of Surgery. She completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. As a native of the Lowcountry, Dr. Wright is returning to her roots to service the communities she calls home. She also has a passion for teaching and interacting with the new generation medical students and residents. Her goal is to provide quality, vascular care for the patients of Charleston and surrounding counties.
