Division of Pathology Informatics

The MUSC Division of Pathology Informatics is staffed by three faculty members and two computing and information technology specialists. The staff has more than 40 years of combined experience in clinical and research informatics.

The team provides technology and support for researchers at MUSC as well as a dozen academic medical centers across the United States and Canada. Supporting contracts include the United States Veterans Health Administration’s Headache and Epilepsy Centers of Excellence, to provide clinical dashboards for monitoring patient reported outcomes, mobile sensor data, and user activities performed under partially controlled conditions.

The division is responsible for training medical students, residents, and fellows in informatics concepts and assists in the development of informatics-related research projects.
