Current Fellows

Brittany Austin, M.D., grew up in Harvey's Lake, PA. She went to medical school at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, PA and was drawn to MUSC by the people, collaboration of patient care, and an exceptional learning environment. When she graduates, she would like to work at an academic university as a residency or fellowship Program Director, and also be involved in research. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and golden retriever. She also enjoys traveling, going to the beach and attending music concerts.

Amartha Gore, M.D., grew up in Columbia, SC. She went to medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina and was drawn to MUSC's Fellowship during her experience as a medical student, as well as time that she spent working at the MUSC Landcaster clinic and exposure with the Maternal Fetal Medicine physician team. When she graduates, she hopes to work closely with underserved and rural communities increasing access to care provided by MFM physicians in those areas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cooking with her daughter. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves to travel and explore new places.

Lauren Yacobucci, M.D., grew up in Buffalo, NY. She obtained her undergrad at the College of the Holy Cross and her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Buffalo. She was drawn to MUSC during her residency and continued to stay for her fellowship. When she graduates, she plans to work as a Maternal Fetal Medicine provider. In her free time, she likes to read, travel and hike.
