The Parallel Track at MUSC AnMed Clinical Campus offers an alternate location in Anderson, SC, for clinical rotations, providing MUSC College of Medicine students with a comprehensive clinical education during their third and fourth years of medical school.

What is unique about this track?

• Primary care emphasis.
• Community hospital setting.
• Longitudinal continuity clinic with the same core preceptors.
• Essentials in Primary Care course.      
  •  One afternoon per week during third year. 
• Increased ambulatory and inpatient experiences.
• Inclusion in AnMed monthly CME programs.
• Longitudinal wellness curriculum and service learning activities

• 40 unique electives, offered in two or four-week durations, depending on preference.

How is the MUSC AnMed campus similar to the Charleston campus?

Students have the same third and fourth-year curriculum, plus unique electives and opportunities for away rotations. 

Students at MUSC AnMed have full access to Charleston support systems.
