Pathology & Lab Medicine Graduate Training

The Graduate Training Program at MUSC provides excellence in education and training that allows students research opportunities across many departments and fields.

Research done in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at MUSC allows students to perform cutting-edge biomedical research in cancer, dementia and other age-related diseases, and hearing loss.

Among all the scientific disciplines, pathology most closely bridges the gap between clinical medicine and the basic sciences. Our faculty consists of basic scientists as well as clinical and anatomic pathologists, all working to provide our students with an understanding of the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying human disease processes.
