College of Medicine Education Policies and Procedures

MUSC Bulletin

Successful navigation through medical school requires that you be aware of several important policies, procedures, and guidelines specific to the College of Medicine and University. The policies and procedures are in place to ensure your success and help you maintain the high academic and professional standards necessary to be a physician. In general, the College of Medicine abides by and follows all University policies, although there are some policies that are unique and specific only to the College of Medicine. Part of being an excellent physician is always knowing expectations and ensuring those are met. These skills will continue to serve you well as you are required to obtain and maintain licensure, hospital privileges, credentialing, and beyond.

Disclaimer: The policies and procedures recited in the MUSC Student Handbook, MUSC Bulletin, and the College of Medicine Handbook reflect the most current policies and procedures of the university and the College of Medicine, but are subject to amendment and change without notice. Students are responsible to check the web sites periodically for posted changes and shall be bound by all such amendments and/or changes.
