Pathology and Lab Medicine Residency Training Teaching Conferences

A core curriculum of required lectures will be presented for all pathology residents from 8 to 9 a.m. daily (except Monday when the conference starts at 7:30 a.m.). All residents are required to attend these lectures regardless of the rotation they are on. In the month of July, a series of introductory lectures are presented to introduce the basics of pathology to the incoming residents and provide a review for the continuing residents. A number of weekly tumor boards, review conferences, and other lectures are presented during the week. These are optional for the residents, unless they are on the service presenting the lecture, in which case attendance is required.
